Privacy Policy

The short version: Your conversations with Smriti are yours. We don't sell them, we don't use them to train other products without your consent, and we've built the app with privacy as a first principle — not an afterthought.
1. Information we collect
When you use Two Eleven, we collect only what we need to provide the service:
- Account information — name, email address, and phone number used for authentication via Firebase.
- Conversation data — the content of your voice and text sessions with Smriti, stored securely in Firebase Firestore under your user ID.
- Session metadata — timestamps, session durations, and subscription status.
- Device information — device model, OS version, and app version for crash reporting and debugging.
- Usage patterns — aggregate, anonymised data about how features are used (not tied to your identity).
2. How Smriti's memory works
Smriti builds a memory of your conversations over time. This memory is stored as structured data in Firebase Firestore — it contains emotional themes you've discussed, important people or events you've mentioned, and patterns Smriti has noticed across sessions.
This memory is used solely to make Smriti more present and contextual in future conversations. It is never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never sold.
You can request deletion of your memory data at any time by emailing [email protected].
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the Two Eleven app and Smriti companion service.
- Personalise Smriti's responses using your conversation history and memory.
- Process subscription payments via Google Play Billing.
- Send session reminders and proactive check-ins (only if you have enabled notifications).
- Debug issues and improve app performance using anonymised crash data.
- Comply with legal obligations when required.
We do not use your conversation data to train AI models — ours or anyone else's — without your explicit consent.
5. Security
Two Eleven is built with security as a first principle. We use Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorised API access, end-to-end encrypted transport for all data in transit, and Firestore security rules to ensure each user can only access their own data.
No security system is perfect. If you discover a vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to [email protected].
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation data and memory nodes are retained indefinitely to support Smriti's long-term memory — this is core to the product's value.
If you delete your account, all data associated with your user ID — including conversation history and memory — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data and account.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy
Two Eleven is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Two Eleven after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
